Dr. Hatem Sadek is a distinguished professor, consultant, and inventor with over two decades of expertise in mechanical power engineering, specializing in fire fighting systems, fluid mechanics, and turbo-machinery. With a rare blend of academic depth and hands-on industry experience, Dr. Sadek has become one of the leading voices in the design, teaching, and innovation of fire protection and HVAC systems across the Middle East.
For more than 23 years, Dr. Sadek has designed and supervised plumbing, fire fighting, and HVAC systems for a wide range of consulting offices and infrastructure projects. He currently serves as Senior Consultant and Head of Mechanical Department at Projacs International, where he also leads professional training programs across the region.
Dr. Sadek has delivered dozens of specialized training courses focused on the design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced mechanical systems. These include:
- Compressors and blowers
- Gas turbines and pumps
- Fire alarm and security systems
- CCTV and safety systems
- Pipeline design and pumping networks

Over the course of his career, Dr. Sadek has led or participated in more than 1,385 consulting assignments, including system design, site inspections, and performance testing, making him one of the most experienced mechanical engineering consultants in his field.
He is also a published author, having written the widely used textbook "Basics of Fire Fighting Sprinkler Systems", which has been adopted by universities throughout the Middle East. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the first Arab professor to formally teach fire fighting systems as a university subject in the region.
Dr. Sadek’s contributions extend beyond academia and consulting—he is also an innovator with several patents in fire fighting system technologies, registered with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) across 134 countries.
