Biography

Dr. Wael Mostafa Zaki is a highly accomplished urban and regional planning expert with a distinguished career spanning academic instruction, strategic development, policy planning, and professional leadership. With a specialization in regional development and curriculum design, he has dedicated his career to shaping future cities and advancing planning practices at both the local and international levels.

Since 2013, Dr. Zaki has served as an instructor of Urban Planning and Housing at the October High Institute for Engineering and Technology, where he plays a key role in academic program development and mentoring future planners. His academic focus lies in preparing urban development curricula that reflect real-world application and emerging global planning standards.

Dr. Zaki's technical expertise spans strategic planning, urban and regional development, design of executive policies, project management, and economic feasibility studies for real estate and urban projects. He is also experienced in developing quality management systems tailored for urban planning initiatives and in leading programs that build professional and administrative capacities in the field.

Beyond academia, Dr. Zaki holds significant positions in the professional community. He is currently the President of the Giza Syndicate of Engineers and a member of the High Council of the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers, contributing to national engineering policy and planning discourse.
